The Bombers are even with Laharum and Rupanyup on 20 points, six points behind Natimuk United in sixth place.
Last weekend’s three-point loss to Jeparit-Rainbow hurt Noradjuha-Quantong’s chances of playing finals in what would have been a huge scalp for the side. Hose said his side would focus on what they can control.
“We just want to continue playing the type of consistent football we are starting to play,” Hose said.
“We need to keep sticking to our processes. It sounds pretty cliche but we are getting some more consistency to our game.”
The Bombers have had a season of improvement and need two more wins to improve on their five wins last season.
“Obviously we still want to improve on last year but we still have heaps to play for,” Hose said.
“Other results have to fall our way for finals but we are still learning the way I want to play. Now that I’ve signed on too hopefully we can continue to build moving forward.”
The Bombers should come away with a win on Saturday against Pimpinio but Hose said his side would not be complacent.
“We won’t be taking Pimpinio lightly – they will still be gunning to get another win on the board,” he said.
The Bombers will be without James Hallett who could be done for the season after sustaining a thumb injury, while forward Jordan Huff will be unavailable for the home game.
