Port Douglas Crocs captain and former Horsham United footballer Kye Chapple will feature for North Queensland at full forward.
Cairns Saints and former Warrack Eagle and Hopetoun footballer Cade Wellington will play next to Chapple in the forward pocket.
Maroochydore half back and former Warrack Eagle Tyle Williams will line-up for South Queensland in the match-up.
Chapple said the Crocs have been defeated once in 2018, by Wellington’s Saints.
“Saints are playing some good footy at the minute, we play them next week. That’s first versus second, I reckon we will get on top of them this time,” he said.
This is the fifth year the representative match has been played, with both teams recording two wins.
“Every time we have gone down there we’ve won and when they come here they win,” Chapple said.
The game is in Aspley, in South Queensland on Saturday.
Chapple said he looked forward to playing alongside former Melbourne Demon Aaron Davey.
“He’s playing in the forward pocket next to me. I wouldn’t mind just being able to say I have played with him,” he said.
Wellington said he has been playing for the Saints for two years, he missed North Queensland selection due to a knee injury in 2017.
“I am pretty privileged to be chosen for the rep team. I didn’t really think it would happen and I’m privileged to play alongside people like Kye Chapple and the good players of this area,” he said.
“We’ll get to see how the game goes.”
