Thursday’s ‘Girls Rock’ high school event included creating a low ropes course, rock climbing, participating in virtual reality with Vicky the Truck, part of the “Victorian. And proud of it.” campaign and previewing the short film featuring Kaniva Girl Guides.
On Friday, primary school girls enjoyed an art space, jumping castle, junk music activity and a fitness challenge run by Wimmera Youth Liaison Officer, Linda McLennan.
The events were run by Guides Victoria, with funding from DHSS and sponsorship from West Wimmera Shire Council, FreeZa and Hindmarsh Shire Council.
