Trish Venn and Tanith Keller each walked away with numerous prizes for their amazing wool creations.
Mrs Venn scored two first prize wins – one for a felted garment dress and another for a nuno felted garment. She also won third prize for a nuno scarf.
“Nuno is a felting technique that weaves wool onto fine silk gauze,” she said.
“I really didn’t expect to win any firsts, so I was ecstatic and very proud.”
Mrs Keller won second and third placings for her wool spinning work.
The Spinners and Weavers group meets four times a month at the Makers Studio at Horsham Regional Library.
Their meeting dates are the first and third Wednesday of the month, and the second and fourth Sunday of the month.
Mrs Venn said the group always welcomed new members.
