A Walk in the Park is the largest community event dedicated to supporting people with Parkinson's to lead full and active lives.

Come along and join in the spirit of the day.

For a $5 entry fee, you will support fundraising efforts, earning a sausage in bread, fruit juice and a medallion on completion.

Thanks to the generosity of the local business houses who are supporting us with donations of foodstuffs towards the event.

The next meeting will be held on Friday, October 5.

At this meeting an open discussion will take place on developing smaller support groups within our group, to encourage others and just be there when needed.

The December meeting will be held at the Royal Hotel, with members celebrating Christmas.

Guest speaker at the Christmas meeting will be Victor McConvey from Parkinson's Victoria.
