Pimpinio’s young list has struggled this season and has registered just the one win for the season, coming against Taylors Lake.
Rupanyup’s unlikely run at a finals spot is over after consecutive losses to Laharum and Jeparit-Rainbow. The Panthers are in ninth spot with five wins for the season.
Pimpinio coach Nathan Sachse said the focus for the last two games of the season was on finishing proudly.
“It comes down to being happy and proud of our individual and team performances,” he said.
“No one wants to finish the season on a very sour note.
“I think most players and supporters would be satisfied if we can sh ow an effort that we are capable of and have displayed throughout the season.
“Most importantly I want players to enjoy the moment because that’s the biggest reason we play football.”
