Martin was one of three Greater Western Victoria Rebels players to be included in the squad that will take on Queensland.
“I’m really excited for the weekend and honoured for the opportunity,” Martin said.
“I’m looking forward to the camp starting on Friday and then playing on Sunday.”
It will be the first time the Horsham College student has represented Vic Country.
“I found out about it a week ago and I want to embrace the whole experience,” Martin said.
I’m just going to give it my best and enjoy every moment.

“I’m just going to give it my best and enjoy every moment.”
Rebels talent manager Phil Partington said Martin had showed plenty of promise with his good ball use early in the TAC Cup season.
“There are certainly still a few areas of his game that we’re working on but this is an exciting opportunity for him,” he said.
“He has the talent and we want to do all that we can in the future to help him develop that talent.
“It’s a standalone fixture which is a good chance for everybody involved to put themselves in front of talent scouts.”
The Vic Country squad will face Queensland at Carlton’s IKON Park on Sunday.
