The winless Lakers surprised the Bombers with four goals in the first quarter, while Noradjuha-Quantong managed just the one.
However, from then on the Lakers kicked just one more goal for the game.
The Bombers won 12.12 (84) to 5.3 (33) with Remy Cross leading the way for the Bombers with four majors.
Lakers playing coach Jye Smith said a lack of rotations after quarter time hurt his side’s chances of applying more scoreboard pressure.
“It was a bitter-sweet day, we started off strong playing some of the football we know we are capable of,” he said.
“We pretty much lost the bench after the first quarter which slowed our run down a bit. We played okay, we just dropped our concentration a bit at times.”
Smith said it was difficult for some of his players to find the drive at the end of a tough and long season.
“Guys are sore at the end of the season but also the fact we have lost so many games hurts that desire to keep going,” he said.
“If we were a top three side guys would be out there playing with a broken hand.
“We need to start looking into the future and we need guys who are going to push through and finish the year off strong.
“Things can change quickly in footy and we need some determination from players looking to next year.”
