CUSTOMERS have been left without a line of communication after Horsham Amcal’s phones were suddenly disconnected.

The business has been without landline phones since August 8.
Horsham Amcal owner Carlie Streeter said the business was doing everything it could to fix the problem.
“It seems someone in the back end has ordered a transition to the NBN for our phone system, which has disconnected our line in the process,” she said.
“We don’t know who ordered that transition or why. We haven’t been able to get any answers from our local Optus shop or Optus in general.
“We are extremely frustrated and especially concerned for our elderly patients who rely on the phone to get us to deliver prescriptions to their home because they are house bound.”
When customers call the line they have been informed that the number has been disconnected.
Ms Streeter said people could call the shop’s alternative number on 0459 589 029.
