Kelm polled 33 votes during the home and away season as her Taylors Lake side finished second on the ladder during the regular season.
The bottom age player won the 13 and under award in 2017 and had no trouble stepping up an age group this season.
“I thought I might poll well but didn’t think I could win it,” she said.
“My team really helped me a lot during the season.”
Her side finished just percentage behind Pimpinio after both sides won 13 of their 16 games.
She said she was confident her side could go well in finals.
“We beat Pimpinio during the season so hopefully we can get them again,” she said.
The hard-working centre thanked her parents, her 15 and under coach and her interleague coach for helping her to continue developing this season.
Noradjuha-Quantong’s Ella Amos polled 26 votes to finish second and its was a tie for third between Pimpinio duo Beth Porter and Piper Brown.
