The side comes into the game on the back of an agonising one-point loss against the Horsham Saints but coach Ryan McKenzie said his side is well placed to attack finals.
“We still need to treat this like any other game,” he said. “Obviously Dimboola have been battling this year but they’re often pretty competitive against us.
“It will be a good chance to iron out a couple of things we need to improve on and try to work on those things we want to take into finals.”
McKenzie said he wanted his side to continue to build on its team-defence game plan.
“Instead of just relying on the back six we’ve been trying to make things a lot harder for the opposition to score against us,” he said.
Warrack Eagles ruckman Travis Lawson is likely to return for his side after missing his side’s last three games.
“He’ll probably play about half the game just to give him a bit of a run around before finals,” McKenzie said.
“Ben Spicer will be out with a crook leg, he’s one that we could play but we want to give him a rest so he raring to go for the week after.”
McKenzie said come the first week of finals there would be a handful of places of for grabs in his side.
“There could be as many as four changes that could happen for the first week of finals,” he said. “This time of year it gets pretty tight for spots so no doubt there are a few playing for one or two spots.”
