The two sides have played close games in the regular season with the score currently sitting at one win apiece.
Kalkee defeated the Southern Roos by five goals in round three before Harrow-Balmoral bounced back in round 13 with a similarly tense 44-38 victory.
Kalkee coach Jaymi O’Connor said her side was preparing well in what is its first A Grade final since 2014.
“We are focusing on each position across the court and focus on how we are going to beat them,” she said.
“It’s meant to be pretty warm on Saturday so hopefully that will suit us. We are a young, fit and fast team.
“I think trying to minimise the impact that Ebonie Salter has on the game will be key to defeating them. She always has an impact but we need to try and minimise how much she can lift her team. If we do that I think we can beat them.”
Finals is a more familiar feeling for Harrow-Balmoral who has featured in three of the last four A Grade grand finals. Coach Amy Lewis said her side had a good mix of youth and leadership.
“We have four junior girls in A Grade this year and then Ebonie Salter and Megan Russell in the centre and myself, so it helps balance it all out,” she said.
“We have had great match-ups against Kalkee this season. I think it will be a hard and fast game. We will need to be focused to come away with the win.
“Both games were very fast and everyone will need to do their job.”
Lewis said she wasn’t entertaining thoughts about making a run at another grand final yet.
“We need to take it one game at a time and even break it down further than that,” she said.
“We need to win each centre pass. We won’t be trying to scare or overwhelm anyone.”
