WW Drung South met earlier this month with morning, craft being Christmas decorations.
The afternoon meeting was chaired by vice-president Helen Jackman, with a special welcome to visitor Denise Keene. Birthday for the month was Lorraine Baudinette.
Members continued to finalise arrangements for the group conference at Taylors Lake, which they were to host. Discussion took place for obtaining a defibulator for the hall. The branch then allocated their funds for this year, before running a Dutch auction of donated goods which realised an amount in excess of $100 – all in all a very satisfying meeting.
Competition results: smallest animal ornament, 1st Helen Jackman; 2nd Gwen Fischer.

Volunteers are needed for shifts at the Royal Melbourne Show to help in many areas, for example cooking, sewing, lunches, morning and afternoon teas, taking money and selling goods.
Anyone who is able to help should let their group president know.
Suggestions are being sought for the 2019 country of study. Next year’s state conference will again be held at Williamstown.
With the world conference in April, there was no time to find another venue.
