The two cases were scheduled for Stawell Magistrates Court on Tuesday but were both adjourned until Tuesday, October 23.
The EPA laid two charges against Dr Starr and his company earlier this month following two breaches of an EPA statutory notice in regards to Stawell's tyre stockpile.
The charges were laid after the EPA stepped in to remove a stockpile of about one million tyres from the site of the dumped tyres that would have posed a major hazard for nearby communities if it had caught fire.
Neither Dr Starr or any representatives from Used Tyre Recycling Corporation Pty Ltd were in attendance at court on Tuesday.
