In the under-14s, the Swifts defeated Taylors Lake in a gripping game of football. The sides were even at the first two breaks before the Swifts broke away in the third term.
Taylors weren’t out of the game, and trailed by two goals heading into the final quarter.
The Lakers finished strong but the Swifts were able to hold on for a one-goal win, 8.2 (50) to 7.2 (44), to book a grand final spot.
In the under-17s, Noradjuha-Quantong beat Natimuk United on percentage for the minor flag, but the Bombers made a huge statement on Saturday.
The Bombers led by just two points at half-time but turned the pressure up in the second half to come away with a 30-point win.
The Bombers kicked six goals to two in the second half. Noradjuha-Quantong won 10.14 (74) to 6. (44).
