A vocal crowd cheered the Demons to a comfortable 54-37 qualifying final victory over the Burras to set up a qualifying semi-final against Warrack Eagles next weekend.
The Demons took control of the game early in wet conditions, forcing turnovers from the Burras and converting accurately with the ball in hand.
They led 16-9 at the first break and looked to be in total control.

“We adjusted well to the wet and windy conditions,” Horsham coach Pauline Butler said.
“I think controlling the ball and slowing it down in the wet really paid off. There was need to transition the ball safely from one end of court to the other which we did well.”
The Demons went on to win every quarter of the game to go through relatively untroubled.
Butler said her side was able to achieve goals it had set before the game well.
“A pretty big focus was on playing a consistent four quarters which I think we did beautifully,” she said.
Emma Buwalda was an unstoppable force in Horsham’s attacking goal circle, shooting 42 goals and rarely missing.
At the other end of the court, Victoria Taylor had a great game taking on Burras shooter Kirby Knight.
“Emma was on song and stood up under immense pressure. I was also really impressed with Victoria’s game, she had a fierce opponent to combat and her defensive pressure probably won us the game,” Butler said.
Butler said the home crowd at Horsham City Oval was a big advantage for her side.
“They were inspirational. With a crowd like that behind you it lifts the girls so much,” she said.
“There was nothing but positivity coming from them and we are really grateful for the support we got from the Demons faithful.”
The Demons will face Warrack Eagles next weekend, with a spot in the grand final on the line.
The Burras will have to face Horsham Saints, with the loser’s season over.
