The inter-club competition showcased the best photographic work from the Horsham, Stawell and Nhill camera clubs.
While each photographer was vying for their category’s accolades, the clubs were also competing for the Ian Garth Memorial Trophy.
The Stawell Camera Club was awarded the top honour after it claimed the most total points.
Horsham Camera Club secretary Glenda Sinclair said the competition was tough, but the Stawell Camera Club came out on top by a slim margin.
It is great to see photography in the Wimmera alive and well.
- Marty Schoo
The Horsham Camera Club followed closely in second place and the Nhill Camera Club came third.
“The competition gives our photographers to showcase their work, but also to see where their photography skills stand in comparison to the other clubs,” she said.
Marty Schoo of Halls Gap, Stephen Moten of Ballarat and Jane Murray of Horsham were invited to judge the 90 prints and 70 projected images submitted.
Mr Schoo said the photographs across all categories were of a high standard.
“It is great to see photography in the Wimmera alive and well,” he said.
