At Dunmunkle branch’s August meeting, roll call was household hints and many interesting and clever tips were shared.
Four members indicated they would attend the planned 90th celebrations to be held at the Hall's Gap holiday house on September 18, with other Central Wimmera Group branches for a shared morning tea and lunch, with the opportunity to see the recent renovations at the cottage. Arrangements are being made for the CWG conference on September 27.

Firstly, a correction to a result at the WWG conference: corn and recipes - Horsham May branch were equal first with Nhill Twilight, as recently reported, with Drung South, 3rd.
A reminder from WW Horsham Branch that Sovereign Needlework is visiting with all those hard to find sewing needs at the CWA Hall, Horsham, Monday, September 17, 9.30am to 4pm.
Twelve ladies attended the Horsham branch’s September meeting and enjoyed a fundraising auction for Association Day, with $84 raised from donated mystery parcels. Prettiest gift wrapped parcel was the competition winner for Bev Shalders and 2nd went to Joyce Bywaters. Single bloom: 1st, Jenny Mitchell; 2nd, Elaine Starrick. Members decided to forward a donation to headquarters CWA Victoria in support of the NSW and Queensland drought relief fund.
Members are reminded to bring along their hopefully strong growing geranium pots from the cuttings taken earlier this year to the November meeting. Plans are being made for the proposed Christmas lunch.
