Ms Kirchner said she was very humbled.
“It was a bit of a surprise – I’ve been involved for more than 20 years,” she said.
“I started off with Noradjuha and played out there. I played for Noradjuha and continued for a few years after the merger.”

Ms Kirchner now volunteers on the board, helping out with the netball.
“I’m on the board as a netball representative and I came over when the football and netball leagues joined together,” she said.
“It seems to be run really well with both the football and netball together. It’s very much a family league and we get really good crowds.”
Ms Kirchner said she was looking forward to seeing how the netball grand finals played out on Saturday at City Oval.
“I like watching all of the netball, all of the teams,” she said. “The A Grade game should be a really good one to watch.”
