A TIGHT contest awaits the Kees and Tigers who hope to claim a C Reserve premiership.
The Kees and Tigers faced off only once this season with the Tigers claiming a 12 goal victory in round 10.
Pimpinio secured its spot in the grand final after defeating Noradjuha-Quantong – the minor premiers – in the semi-finals by two goals, 34-32.
Kalkee coach Melissa Beddison said the Thompson girls were a danger in the goals and the Tigers’ defenders were strong.
“Our goalies have the ability to shoot accurately, but with the weather it might mean it’s a defenders game,” she said.
Pimpinio coach Maree Thompson said the Kees had strength across the court.
“They are solid through the centre, their defenders stick very tight and if their goalies are on fire then it will be tough for our defenders,” she said. “But, if we are on target then it will be hard for them as well.”
