The teams have played twice this season, with the Kees winning both games. But, the Ewes did put up a tough contest in their last game with Kalkee defeated the Ewes by only 2 goals, 35-33.
The Kees secured its place in the finals after narrowly defeating Laharum in the semi-finals by two goals, 33-31.
Kalkee finished the season as minor premiers – having never lost a game.
The Ewes finished in third.
Natimuk United coach Tahli Hallam said her team has a strong group of netballers ready for the weekend.
“We are in for a chance. We have played our best netball in our time in the finals this year. Kalkee obviously will bring it as well,” she said.
Hallam said the Kees’ goal shooters Kayla Hawker and Rebecca Hudson were always on point and would be difficult to shut down.
“But, we are pretty good at playing our own game and when it gets close and tough we keep a calmness about to our game,” she said.
Kalkee coach Montana Ledgar said her team were focusing on fitness, accuracy and mid-court pressure.
“We have been training well, we have a strong side fitness wise and all over the court,” she said.
While the Kees defeated the Ewes in the past, Ledgar said it was no easy feat.
“Both were very close and we’re excited for a close game,” she said.
