But standing in their way are minor premiers Warrack Eagles, a team just as eager to add another flag to their collection.
The Eagles won both encounters against the Saints in the home and away season, by 29 points and 11 points respectively.
But the Eagles are yet to face the same Saints outfit that beat Minyip-Murtoa in a semi-final on Sunday.
Warrack Eagles come into the preliminary final by way of an eight-goal loss to Horsham Demons last week.
Coach Jane Richardson said her side would look to its speed to beat the Saints.
“It’s something we’ll use to our advantage that’s for sure,” she said.
“We have to rely on things other than height, which is not something we have in spades.
“We need to make sure our defence all the way down the court is at its best to put pressure on the Saints attackers.
“They have height in defence so we need to use our speed and good ball movement as avenues to goal.”
Saints coach Shannon Reinheimer said her team was taking things a week at a time.
“We're excited to be part of the finals series again this year,” she said.
“It’s going to be a very tough match on Sunday.
“Warrack are a very fast-paced side through the midcourt, with excellent goalies and very dynamic defenders.
“We need to go out there and play our game, be patient when we have the ball, and wait until we have options to goal.
“Hopefully being part of finals last year gives us that psychological advantage to have the belief we can do it.
“Hopefully we can get over the line.”
