Her latest exhibition, Collaborating with the Ghosts, is currently on display at the Horsham Regional Art Gallery.
Gallery curator Michelle Mountain said all artists and arts enthusiasts would benefit from the free talk.
"(Ms Eckermann’s) collaborative drawings with the ghost moths reveal their hidden beauty in stark contrast to their terrifying appearance,” she said.
Ms Eckermann said a small hole inhabited by the Bardi grub on a Lake Albacutya sand ridge had inspired her latest artworks.
"The work in this exhibition echoes the transient life cycle of the Bardi grub and transformative concepts within the art making process,” she said.
“Harnessing the grubs' metamorphosis into a ghost moth, I utilised this moth as a mark maker within my drawings.”
Meet the artist: Belinda Eckermann will be held at the galley on Sunday, September 16 from 3pm.
The exhibition is on display until October 7.
