The local legend was in New York City when he posted an Instagram photo of himself with fellow Horsham basketball player Jannik Blair and newly crowned US Open wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott.
The caption on the photo read, “From stumps at Wilsons to New York... who’d have thought.”
Creek was of course referencing Wilsons – the (in)famous Horsham nightspot that is the go-to destination for many on a Saturday night.
Creek is currently in a pre-season training camp deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Early last month, he made a quick return to his hometown to hold basketball clinics, including one at Holy Trinity Lutheran College.
Blair helped the Australian Rollers take home bronze at the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation world championships in August.
The Horsham export was part of a 12-player squad that competed for a third straight world championship title.
