Stawell’s Colene Matthews and Horsham’s Jane Robertson had years of hard work and commitment to their clubs, the association and netball in the Wimmera recognised with life memberships.
Matthews was speechless when accepting the award, clearly surprised as she entered the stage. She said family involvement was a key motivator in getting her involved in various forms of volunteer work.

Robertson said the love of the club and the game keeps is her big drive behind her work with the Demons.

Both women will be busy supporting their clubs on grand final day on Saturday.
