The former Noradjuha-Quantong player slotted comfortably into the Saints’ 17 and under and A grade sides.
The young gun claimed the Wimmera Netball Association’s 17 and under best and fairest award after a successful season.
She is among a host of young stars in the side including Maggie Caris and Lavina Fox.
Hallam said she did not expect to have the chance to play in the senior side, given her newcomer status.
She said she considered it an honour to start in A grade after making the switch.
“At first, I didn’t expect to get the opportunity to play. I played a little bit of A grade last year with the Bombers, but this was the first time I played in the Wimmera league,” she said.
Hallam said playing alongside and against experienced players has helped hone her skills.
She hoped she could continue playing in the senior side next year and build on her abilities.
“It has helped me come a long way,” she said.
“I have been talking to my team leading up to the grand final and to hear the excitement around last year’s premiership has made me excited to have the chance to experience that.”
