A notification on the health service’s website explained that the reduction was due to a general practitioner shortage.
The reduction will take place between 12noon on Sunday, September 23 to 8am on Monday, September 24.
“Despite our best efforts, Stawell Regional Health will not have a doctor available to attend urgent care during this time,” the notice read.
