Club president Brett Wheaton said Bone had brought plenty of experience to the role.
“We have been thrilled with Tim’s commitment to the club and his expertise,” he said.
“He has also brought a fresh approach with the junior program. We have blooded a number of our junior boys who have played their first senior games this season.
“I think it was about five under-17s that went through the seniors. At this stage, all of them will be staying.”
Nhill has also re-signed some key players for next season, with Simon Cave and Jake Harrap set to step up as playing assistant coaches.

Bone said he was excited to work with both Cave and Harrap in an effort to lead the Tigers up the table.
“They are really experienced guys and I’m looking forward to working with them,” he said.
“There are a lot of good young players who will get their opportunity and a number of players who have about 40 senior games under their belt. We want them to really step up to help us rise up the ladder.
“Every club aims to make the finals but obviously we were a long way off this year, that’s just being realistic. We are in a bit of a different situation to other clubs who have bigger populations.”
Bone said at this stage he would be a non-playing coach next season.
Wheaton said there was a good vibe at the club.
“The recruiting guys are out and about and a number of this year’s players are re-signed,” he said.
“Our focus is to retain all the locals that we possibly can and invite past players back to the club as well, for football and netball.
“All netball coaching jobs are open at the moment, so we are having discussions about that too.”
