Cobden competes in the Hampden Football Netball League in south-western Victoria.
It’s open netball team couldn’t match it with Koroit in the season decider on Saturday but it has set the standard for pic celebrations.
Coach Nadine McNamara, still a little hoarse from the end of season fun, said the idea was tossed around before the finals and became a reality in the aftermath of Saturday’s game.
“We’re pretty happy with it, it came up quite well,” she laughed.
“Netball is a big part of our lives but it’s all about the friendship. We’ve got a really great club culture.
“I think it just shows we’ve got a sense of humour and we’re happy to take the mickey out of ourselves.
“We’re still covered in paint though, we spray painted each other. We have our presentation night on Thursday so we’ve got to get it off before then.”
