Held at Maroske Hall on Saturday and Sunday, awards were handed out to the best orchids from across the region.
President Joy Scott said people from all over had flocked to the event.
“We’ve had lots of people through both days; especially lots from out of town,” she said.
“We had a few people stop in on their way to Murtoa’s Big Weekend from Adelaide. Lots of plants have also been selling which is great.”
Australia Orchid Council judging panel registrar Graham Zerbe said it was always a pleasure to judge the society’s orchids.
“It was the usual high standard this year; they always put on a really good show with high qualityflowers,” he said.
Horticultural Merit went to Lois and Peter Williams. Highly Commended certificate went to Michael and Bernadette Matthews.
