The side defeated Queensland 11-6 in the bronze medal match on Sunday to claim the medal.
Melbourne-based Naomi Linossier coached the side and said it was a great weekend.
“They surpassed our expectations as coaches and it was good to see them grow as a team and as individuals,” she said.
“They were very happy with themselves and felt like they earned the bronze medal.”
Linossier said Bianca enjoyed the tournament and showed a lot of enthusiasm.
“Bianca improved out of sight on the weekend, she really took on board all the feedback and she improved every game,” she said.
“It was great to see. She really enjoyed herself and she was in the team last year so she had a bit of leadership with how the competition has run in the past.”
It is the fourth year in a row the Victorian team has finished third in the competition.
“Victoria has been right in the mix for quite some time now,” Linossier said.
“Bianca is really keen to come back again next year and it’s great having someone that young and enthusiastic in the team.”
