Kaniva 1 fell only 6 shots short of beating Horsham City 1 on Sunday.
Each side won 2 rinks each.
Geoff Gloury, Govan Bellinger, Derek Ballinger and Daniel Gloury (s) had a big 33-9 shot win for City, which was almost matched by a 28-9 win by Maree van Kempen, Ian Austin, Janet Kuchel and Darren Maddern for Kaniva.
Coughlin Park 1 visited Dimboola 1 and came home with a 37 shot victory.
Good wins by skippers Peter Beasley, Grant Kemp and Wally Dumesny ensured the good margin for Coughlin Park team.
Sunnyside 1 also remained undefeated after defeating Horsham City 2 by 31 shots.
With two good rink wins in the bank for Sunnyside, all eyes were on a great seesawing battle between skippers Kevin Smith and Trevor Hamilton.
In the end, it was Smith who finished on top by 2 shots for Sunnyside.
Nhill 1 opened its account for the season with a 33 shot triumph over Horsham Golf 1.
Skippers Gavin Walter and Graeme Lynch played out a 23 all tie and Nhill won the other 3 rinks.
The closest game in division two was the contest between Coughlin Park 2 and Sunnyside 3.
Each side won 2 rinks in a 7 shot win by Coughlin Park.
Chris Oliver and Dennis Wade had the pivotal results for the winners.
Goroke managed a 13 shot win over Edenhope 1. The biggest win in the game was by Pam Bonnici, Robert Stacey, Fred Lowe and Bev Hadden (s) who won by 11 shots.
Hedley Brown, Gary Barbary, John Strudwick and Graeme Brown (s) won 34-13 in Natimuk’s 41 shot win over Horsham City 3.
Three good rink wins were enough to ensure a 33 shot win for Sunnyside 2 over Nhill 2.
Coughlin Park 3, Dimboola 2 and Nhill 4 all remain undefeated in division three after wins on the weekend. Horsham Golf 2 bounced back with a 20 shot win over Coughlin Park 4.
Midweek Pennant
Only two games were completed in a wet round four of Midweek Pennant. Sunnyside 1 defeated Nhill by 20 shots.
Jill Coutts and Norma Hair were winners for Sunnyside.
Horsham City 1 defeated Coughlin Park 1 by 10 shots.
Josi Leyonhjelm, Max Leyonhjelm, Geoff Inglis and Betty Cozens had the only rink win for City but the 34-5 scoreline kept their side ahead.
During the week the Wimmera Division Over 60 Singles titles were won by Shirley Schorback of Coughlin Park and Geoff Gazelle of Dimboola.
