The three figures were carefully designed and named to cover different aspects of rural life in past eras. Constance represents the medical and armed forces, Winnifred represents CWA, Red Cross and Comforts Fund. The silhouette Annie represents the Country Women's Association Land Army. 

It was nice to read a story on the recent WMT Horsham 20th celebration morning tea of the column, in the September Victorian Country Woman - official magazine of CWA Victoria. 

During Senior's Week, the Umina CWA Club will be busier than usual with an extra two sessions of Devonshire teas being served to groups. 

On October 12 and 13 there was a Christmas baking masterclass for interested members, with a full day of baking, each making and taking home a Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, shortbread and mince pies. What a great way of getting the festive baking done. 

For the 14^th year, “Chicks with Attitude” will participate in the massive Murray Paddle Team, CWA Kayak Team - their charity of choice will be the Thanksgiving Fund - National Centre for Farmer Health. 

Central Wimmera, Dunmunkle branch celebrated its 53rd birthday with lunch at the Minyip Hotel followed by the monthly meeting.

Marie Tobin was presented with her badge and certificate for 50 years service to CWA Victoria, a wonderful achievement.

A large box of articles including teddies, beanies and school requisites have been forwarded to CWA headquarters. 

CWA 90th Birthday Friendship Rose - the first round has been distributed and as stated earlier only a limited number were available, however, there are unlimited numbers promised next year, so hopefully, if you missed out this year, you will be luckier second time around.
