The two-day long festival celebrated everything to do with spring, flowers and gardens. Stallholders were selling a wide range of products, while range of guest speakers were featured throughout the festival.
Horsham Spring Garden Festival chairman Michael Speirs said he was very pleased with the crowd turnout for the event.
“It’s been very good – the weather was just okay on Saturday but much better for Sunday; we had a good crowd through both days,” he said.
“We’ve had some local speakers, demonstrations and information sessions.”
He said this was the 31st year the event had been held.
“The gardens are such a drawcard; there’s been a big drive behind the committee to make it a big event. It does draw people from around the region,” he said.
Sam Martin of Revamp Rust, Brim, was selling his garden sculptures at the event.
“I make them all myself and source the iron from farms around the region. It take about a day to source the materials, design them and make the larger sculptures. They’re really great statements for you garden,” he said.
TractionAG Horsham’s Michael Turner said the business was selling a new range of Cup Cadet mowers at the festival.
“They have a new steering concept that takes away the need for levers,” he said.
