Salter relinquished the coaching job last season to have her second child, but made a remarkably quick return to the court in May, just 10 weeks after giving birth.
Salter said she was happy to return and optimistic about the club’s chances next season.
“It’s nice to return to the role after having some time off this year,” she said.
“We’ll retain most of the playing group and we’ve hopefully got a few new faces coming in to announce soon. It looks like it’s going to be a really good year.”

Salter takes over from Amy Lewis who took the role during Salter’s time off last season. Lewis will stay at the club as a player.
Salter said inconsistency made it difficult for Lewis and the team to find rhythm last season, particularly in the early part of the year.
“We felt this year that we left our run a little too late. It was obviously a pretty tough year, I came in half-way through the season so it was hard for Amy to settle the team early on,” she said.
“But we got to play a lot of our youngsters which was great, and will help them in the long run.”
Harrow-Balmoral ended up falling to Edenhope-Apsley in the semi-finals last season, but Salter and the club are aiming higher next season.
“To get that balance of experience and still keep playing the kids should hopefully bring us back up,” Salter said.
“We’re aiming to get to the Grand Final which I think is a realistic goal next year, and is one we’ve had for many years.”
