A MAN, 28, has been remanded in custody for the theft of a solar inverter from a small business.

The inverter was dismantled and stolen from the outside of Pyke’s Pets and Cycles on Stawell’s Main Street earlier in October. He has been remanded following his arrest.
Police will also interview the man in relation to burglaries and thefts at Stawell Petstock, the Stawell Band Hall and from several residential homes in Stawell.
Stawell Police are also calling out for people who may have had items stolen.
After executing a search warrant on a Stawell premises, pairs of shoes along with other items believed to be stolen were located.
