The Richard Morris Memorial Concert comprises the cream of musical and artistic talent from across Horsham and the Wimmera.
Jan Morris is leading the concert – a tribute to her late husband – along with a team of organisers.
It will run in the Horsham Town Hall for the third constructive year, after moving from its traditional home at Horsham’s Wesley Performing Arts Centre in 2016.
Mrs Morris said this year’s event on November 17 would include performances from Horsham students involved in the Wakakirri national story competition, Horsham Primary School’s signing choir, and a range of musicians.
“We have a great program – we have so much talent in Horsham and surrounds,” she said.
Mrs Morris said a key aspect of the concert was the presentation of the Richard Morris Scholarship, a $1000 bursary to help a performer develop their talents.
“We’re encouraging people to apply, as the applications close next week,” she said.
“There’s money out there to go to budding performers, and we want to award it.
“Everyone who has won a scholarship is still in the performing arts space, so that tells us the judging process is working.
“We have three different judges every year.
“We’ve got to the stage where we're trying to work out whether we give two scholarships, or increase the amount for one award.”
Concert tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for concession.
The show starts at 8pm.
Mrs Morris said people could access scholarship application forms on the Horsham Town Hall website.
Applications close on November 9.
