Dimboola 1 picked up its second win for the Wimmera Bowls Division season when it defeated Sunnyside 1 by 40 shots. All four rinks won for Dimboola, including Josh Cook, Daniel Danisch, Darryl Argall and Geoff Gazelle (s) who won 31-13.

Bob Dolan, Col Morrell, Betty Cozens and Anthony King (s) had a 16 shot triumph in an important 33 shot win by Horsham City 1 over Nhill 1.
Coughlin Park 1 and Horsham Golf 1 both won two rinks each, but good wins by Grant Kemp and Peter Beasley got Coughlin Park over the line by 18 shots.
Kaniva 1 beat Horsham City 2 by 46 shots at Kaniva. Mal Coutts and Jeff Meyer both won by more than 20 shots.
DIVISION 2
In Division 2, Goroke beat Coughlin Park 2 by 30 shots despite only winning one rink. A 50-12 win by Barney Mulraney, Taffy Williams, Don McEachran and Geoff Lowe (s) was enough to offset three narrow losses.
Cory Baxter and Hugh Caldow both won well to help Edenhope 1 to a 31 shot win over Horsham City 3.
A 20 shot win by Ron Tollbring, Roger MacInnes, Rod Skurrie and Max Maher (s) proved to be telling when Sunnyside 1 defeated Natimuk by 18 shots.
Nhill 2 and Sunnyside 2 each had two rink wins, but the Nhill side finished 10 shots ahead.
DIVISION 3
Nhill 3 and 4 battled it out for bragging rights in Division 3. It was Nhill 4 who came out on top by 14 shots.
David Terry and Margaret Sanders each had big wins as Coughlin Park 3 beat Kaniva 2 by 14 shots.
Dimboola 2 snuck in by 6 shots over Coughlin Park 4 and Horsham Golf 2 had a big win over Horsham City 4 by 40 shots.
MIDWEEK PENNANT
In Midweek Pennant the closest Division 1 game was between the two top sides. Two rink wins allowed Sunnyside 1 to beat Horsham City 1 by 18 shots. In the other two games, the winning side won all 3 rinks against their opposition. Dimboola won by 43 shots over Coughlin Park 1 and Kaniva defeated Nhill by 28.
In Division Two, Serviceton travelled to Sunnyside 2 and won by 12 shots. Gwen Colwill, Lois Miles, Wendy Miles and Loma Wallis (s) won their rink by 12 with the other rink ending in a draw. The other two games were convincing wins by Natimuk and Horsham City 2 over Coughlin Park 2 and Goroke.
NOVICE SINGLES
On Sunday, the Novice Singles were decided with Sunnyside players Ron Tollbring and Julie Savage winning the titles. The Ladies Pairs final will be between Judith Albrecht and Lorraine Ross, of Dimboola, and Sue Lyttle and Jill Coutts, of Sunnyside. In the Men’s Pairs there are still two rounds to be contested.
