The school currently has 86 new prep students enrolled for 2019.
Prep teacher Carly Nevill said she was very excited about the high numbers.
“It will be four classes, but possibly five if we get more enrollments,” she said.
“We try to keep our class sizes down especially in the younger years. The last few years we’ve seen a huge growth in numbers.
“We were down on numbers three years ago, but we continue to go from strength-to-strength.
“We’ve got a great community and we are so passionate about the school.”
The new prep students had their first transition day last Thursday where they were able to meet teachers and fellow students.
“They will have another one this Thursday, and then in December, they will come back and have an orientation day,” she said.
“It’s a good opportunity for us to meet the new students and build that relationship with them. It makes it less scary for our little ones too.”
