Two teams competed in the tournament, playing five 24-minute games on Sunday.
Team manager Jeramie Williams said there was plenty of diversity across the two teams the club fielded.
“The A team was made up mainly of our senior premiership players, then our B team was made up of a couple of older guys and a few young guys,” he said. “Both teams won their first game and I had never played in a winning team at South West Games before.”

Gary Zhao was named player of the tournament for Horsham and scored a volley for the B grade team to snare the side’s only win. Both teams won one game and Williams said it was also great to see Stawell in the tournament.
“Stawell beat our A team 1-0 after a mistake from our goalkeeper Damian Barnett,” Williams said. “It was good to see another Wimmera team in there, and part of the future planning is to start a local competition."
Neither of the sides made finals but Williams said it was a great experience.
