A close match between Central Park White and Natimuk in section one open headlined an exciting weekend of tennis in round four of the Central Wimmera Tennis Association junior competitions.

The match was level on sets, but Natimuk had a games advantage of 28-25, handing Central Park White its first loss of the season.
With both Rhys and Jack Pidgeon missing, Central Park White gave up a big lead in the doubles ties, losing two out of three sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
For Natimuk, Holly Smith was pivotal, winning all three of her sets including a 6-2 in her singles.
In another match, first placed Haven Black took on bottom of the ladder Haven Green. Haven Green put up a fighting effort, eventually losing out 2-18 to 4-29.
Jack Colbert fought gallantly for Haven Green, winning two out of his three ties including a 6-1 victory in his singles match.
Horsham Lawn also defeated Central Park Blue 4-31 to 2-18, rising above its opponents into fourth on the ladder.
In section one girls, Horsham Lawn remained top of the table and undefeated after a 4-28 to 2-25 win against Central Park White.
With the two sides close on games won, Lawn was able to win the crucial sets to get the victory.
It was a similar story for Haven Pink, who defeated Natimuk Blue 4-29 to 2-22 to remain in second position on the ladder. Darcie Landrigan was the star for Haven, winning all three of her sets including a 6-0 singles victory.
Haven Purple forfeited its scheduled game against Natimuk Gold.
