With nearly 70 contestants already registered to play, tournament organiser Brett Thompson said Horsham Lawn is one of the most popular venues for junior action.
“It’s usually quite popular because it gives the kids an opportunity to play on grass, when most don’t get the chance to play on lawn all that often,” he said.
The tournament will consist of a knockout singles tournament and a round-robin doubles competition in four different age groups; 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, and 15 and over.
There will be winners in each age group and points will also be accumulated for the aggregate prizes across all four tournaments.
Competitors can register by calling Brett Thompson on 0417 347 246 before 8pm Friday, although late applications might be considered.
