From the outset, high-pressure defence put the Lady Hornets in the lead, but if not for some wasteful shooting the lead could have been more.
Not content for the outside shots, the Lady Hornets attacked the paint and were rewarded with a 23-point lead at half-time. Terang hit a buzzer-beating three-point shot on the half-time siren, but the Lady Hornets were well and truly in control.
Georgia Hiscock hit 13 first-half points for the Lady Hornets, with positive attacking play from Ema Iredell and Georgie Carberry.
Caitlin Story and Rebecca McIntyre made life hard for Terang in attack, bringing in plenty of rebounds.
It was a strange start to the second half, with the Lady Hornets wasting a number of chances and both sides turning the ball over through fouls.
The Lady Hornets scored just one point in the first six minutes of the second half before finding their groove again.
The side forced turnovers after the slow start, but continued to waste chances in attack.
The Hornets ran out the game strong with some of the younger players getting some minutes.
A couple of lay-ups to Lady Hornet Ella Friend helped close the game out as the Lady Hornets ran away with their fourth win.
The final scoreline read 83-52 in favour of the Lady Hornets with Iredell continuing a great scoring season so far with another 24 points.
Carberry was influential with some good shooting in the fourth quarter putting her tally up to 17 points.
