The Giants have secured Janelle Lawson and Maddelyne Shannon as A Grade co-coaches, taking over from Kim Shannon.
Lawson is a former national netball player, who has played for the likes of Queensland Firebirds and West Coast Fever.
The club has also secured former Sunraysia Football Netball League best and fairest Amy Dodds, while former Pimpinio A Grade coach Marnie Lehmann also joins the club as B Grade coach.
The Giants’ netball president Mikala Roberts said the club was excited by the new additions.
“Our A Grade coaches have plenty of experience – Maddelyne has been involved in the past with the Giants while Janelle was around last season,” she said.
“Janelle is someone who has played at a very high level and has an impressive resume. She is working locally and her partner is from Beulah.
“She played a few games this season but did have a few injuries.
“We are sitting a lot more structured this time of the year than last year so we are really pleased about that.”
Roberts said the additions of Lehmann and Dodds would also bolster the netball sides.
“Amy’s partner Reece McNally is the ruckman for the seniors so she has been around the club this year but is looking forward to joining in a playing capacity next season,” she said.
“Amy has played at an A Grade level for a number of years and brings a lot of knowledge to the club.
“Marnie used to play for Beulah and her brother Tyler is in the seniors. We are really glad to have her back and a part of the Giants family.”
