Three tankers attended the fire, keeping it “all pretty safe”.
“The fire did make its way to a pile of tyres which will mean some smoke is visible but it is pretty safe at the moment,” a CFA district 16 spokesman said.
Members of the community are urged to take caution when around the area, with smoke visible.
