“The march demonstrates our commitment to ending the use of violence and upholding the safety of women and children, and is open to everyone ,” she said.
“We’re hoping they community decides to come together and show their support for the cause.”
The Wimmera White Ribbon Walk will start at the Horsham Aquatic Centre car park at 12.30pm. Participants will walk along Firebrace Street and towards May Park.
The day will end with a free barbecue and a range of guest speakers.
Ms Harfield said seven local White Ribbon ambassadors would receive their certificates on the day.
“Each year we choose a group of men who we think best represent the cause and see themselves standing up against violence against women,” she said.
“We ask them if they would like to become an ambassador and they then go through training.”
