McDonald's Horsham customers helped raise more than $3500 on the day which will go towards Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Crewmember and McHappy Day event manager Kaitlyn Gerbert said she was thrilled with the outcome.
“We were really happy with how it went. People were very generous; we had people donating their loose change through the drive-through and others were giving that little bit extra,” she said.
“There was face painting at the store, while our staff were encouraged to dress in anything red, white and yellow."
Money was raised through the sale of Big Macs, helping hands, socks, raffles and donations.
Ronald McDonald House Charities raises money to help keep families together while their seriously ill child undergoes treatment.
Since it first started in 1991, McHappy Day has raised more than $42 million for RMHC.
