The team faced the Terang Tornadoes for the second time this season and won by 20 points.

The Lady Hornets trailed for all but a few minutes of the first half as Terang piled on the goals in front of their home crowd, and went into the first break up by 11.

But from there the Horsham outfit steadily clawed its way back into the match, and hit the front with less than a minute left in the second quarter.

At half-time, the away side led by four points.

The Tornadoes threatened to again take hold of the match in the third before a run of eight consecutive points to the Lady Hornets saw them open up a nine-point lead.

They extended this to 15 by the final change.

The Horsham side remained in control in the fourth to cement their fifth win of the season.

Youngsters Georgie Carberry and Faith McKenzie each top-scored with 20 points.

The Lady Hornets faced the tougher of their two weekend games on Sunday afternoon, taking on the Geelong Supercats for the first time this season, in Belmont.

Coach Damien Kilpatrick was wary of how well the Supercats had performed on their home court this season, but the Lady Hornets got out to a blistering start and never looked back, securing an impressive 90-58 victory.

Ema Iredell led the way with 30 points while Georgia Hiscock scored 20 including three three-pointers.
