Cranna has returned closer to his home in South Australia with the Echunga Football Club in the Hills Football League.
Jeparit-Rainbow coach Daniel Batson thanked Cranna for his service, and said the club now need to look toward alternatives.
“Obviously it’s disappointing to see a key member of the last three years leave,” Batson said.
“He’s been travelling from the hills in Adelaide and we’ve appreciated that.
“All those guys that travel have a ticking clock as fair as how long they can stick around, so we knew he would have to leave eventually.
“Hopefully this just gives a chance to some young guys on the team, or we might look at bringing somebody in to help out.”
Batson said they had no signings to confirm at this stage but were in talks with several players about signing for the club.
“Like every club we’re talking to about 50 people with the hope of signing three or four new players,” he said.
“It’s just about getting the right guys who are going to be good for our club.”
