Wes Richardson, Tim Barber, Ray Gilmartin and Gavin Walter (s) were the only rink winners for Golf, but their 35-19 win was enough to take the match.
Coughlin Park 1 had their first successful trip to Nhill in a number of years, coming home with a 12-shot win over Nhill 1.
Robert Hatcher, Anthony Woodhead, Aldo Leyonhjelm and Mick Ellis (s) won their rink by 12 shots.
Dimboola 1 had three good rink wins to defeat Kaniva 1 by 41 shots, while Horsham City 1 had a big win over sister side Horsham City 2.
DIVISION 2
In Division 2 John Brent, Merle Burns, Val Lowe and Rob Stacey (s) won 35-12 in a 13-shot win for Goroke that kept them in fourth spot, ahead of their opponents, Nhill 2.
The other three games resulted in solid wins by the top three teams.
Big winners were Shaun Taylor, Mick Coutts, Viv Garwood and Don Hartigan (s) 38-10 for Natimuk; Hedi Holtkamp, John Brown, Norma Hair and Ian Barnett s 32-11 for Sunnyside 1; and Tim Nihill, Rob Keating, Dave Terry and Dennis Wade (s) 29-15 for Coughlin Park 2.
DIVISION 3
In Division 3, Horsham City 4 had a narrow win over Coughlin Park 4 by four shots.
Horsham Golf 2 also had a tight win beating Dimboola 2 by five shots.
Nhill 3 had a 16-shot win over Coughlin Park 3 with Keith Koop, Ed Bywaters, Jenny Blackwood, and Maurie Haby (s) winning 32-9. Sunnyside 4 and Kaniva 2 also had good wins.
MIDWEEK PENNANT
Nhill defeated Horsham City 1 by one shot in Midweek Pennant. The win moved Nhill into fourth spot with four rounds to go.
Kaniva moved up into third with a 33-shot victory over Coughlin Park 1. Joyce McFarlane, Linda Williams, Lorraine Coad, Janet Kuchel (s) won by 19 shots.
Top side Sunnyside 1 won on all three rinks in a 24-shot win over Dimboola.
In Division 2, Edenhope nearly pulled off an upset against top side Serviceton, who won by only five shots.
Sunnyside 2 replaced Goroke in fourth spot when it beat them by seven shots.
Horsham City 2 also remained undefeated when they defeated Coughlin Park 2 by 37 shots.
Neither Wimmera side could win its challenge against the LSEBA on Sunday. The best performed rinks were Deb MacInnes, Lorraine Coad, Sue Lyttle and Lorraine Ross for the ladies team and Adrian Coad, Mal Coutts, Danny Schmidt and Murray Gannon for the men.
